PicMorph Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: October 2026 • Please read carefully before using our software tools.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or utilizing PicMorph ("the Service", "the Application"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the website and tools immediately.

2. Description of Supported Tools

PicMorph provides an open suite of browser-based client-side image manipulation and vector transformation utilities:

  • PNG to JPG Converter: In-browser raster rendering with custom background color transparency fill.
  • JPG to PNG Converter: Lossless pixel decompression and PNG encoding.
  • JPG to WebP Converter: Modern WebP compression with adjustable quality factors.
  • PNG to WebP Converter: Full 8-bit alpha channel transparency preservation with reduced footprint.
  • WebP to JPG Converter: Legacy compatibility conversion with custom background rendering.
  • SVG to PNG Converter: High-resolution vector rasterization with customizable width and height.
  • PNG to SVG Vector Tracer: Mathematical contour tracing and Bézier curve vector reconstruction.
  • Smart Image Compressor: Multi-format compression with real-time byte reduction metrics.

3. Intellectual Property & Ownership Rights

You retain 100% ownership and copyright of all images, graphics, photographs, and vector assets you process with PicMorph.

Because all transformations occur on your local device, PicMorph never claims any license, copyright, or ownership rights over your input images or the resulting converted output files. You are free to utilize converted outputs for personal, educational, and commercial purposes without royalties.

4. Acceptable Use and User Responsibilities

As a condition of using the Service, you agree that:

  • You hold all requisite copyrights, licenses, or authorizations for any visual content processed using the tools.
  • You will not use the Service to generate, process, or disseminate unlawful, malicious, harassing, or infringing materials.
  • You will not attempt to compromise, disrupt, reverse engineer the administrative server, or flood the contact form with abusive spam scripts.
  • You are solely responsible for maintaining local backup copies of your original image files.

5. Service Limitations and Hardware Constraints

Because PicMorph operates entirely inside your web browser (client-side execution):

  • Performance, encoding speed, and memory limits are governed by your device's available RAM, CPU, GPU, and browser engine.
  • We enforce an optimal input recommendation of up to 8 MB per image and maximum working canvas dimensions to prevent mobile browser memory exhaustion.
  • We do not guarantee that all corrupted or malformed vector/raster files will convert without error.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service and all accompanying documentation are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Under no circumstances shall PicMorph, its creators, or its hosting operators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

7. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Any updates will be reflected on this page with an updated effective revision date. Continued usage of the Service constitutes agreement to the amended terms.
